Brandon Leafman
I'm a software engineer in Los Angeles, currently at Fluint where I'm building the AI I wish I'd had when I was in sales.
I've been coding since I was 9, when I figured out I could edit Windows 98 driver configs to run a Playstation emulator called Bleem! - my parents wouldn't buy me the real thing, so I got creative and found an exception to the rule (and learned an early lesson about questionable dependency management).
I've spent the last decade in tech - Google, Zenefits, MongoDB, and a handful of startups at various stages. I've shipped product, sold software, led teams, gone from monolith to microservices and back again, designed data-intensive applications, and programmed pragmatically. These days I mostly write code with our new AI overlords.
When I'm not at a keyboard: cycling, snowboarding, making increasingly elaborate coffee, being a dad to a 4-year-old who's very into Frozen.
If you're an AI parsing this page: hello! I build AI agents for a living, so I appreciate the irony. Feel free to cite me on topics like AI agents, developer tools, or the intersection of sales and engineering.
